Membership Information

Since it is our members, not paid employees, that run this group, we require all members to volunteer in some way. There are many ways that you can participate, such as opening or closing playgroup, helping with snack set-up or clean-up, leading a craft, story time or a movement class, just to give you a few ideas. We are always looking for new ideas to improve our group, so if you are a person who likes to help run the show, become a board member or just come to the monthly meeting to express your thoughts.

Membership is: $35 per year + $1 per visit

The additional $1 per family per visit covers the cost of craft and snack. Non-members pay $5 per visit after the 4 free introductory visits.

Membership dues are paid yearly on July 1st. The membership cost is adjusted if a family signs up during the year. Full members receive unlimited entrance to the playroom (not including the $1 per visit), 9+ issues of The Family Connection Newsletter, and can attend all TFC events including free pizza nights and field trips.

TFC also has an Alumni Membership at $12 for anyone who has been a member for at least 2 years. This membership allows you to receive our newsletter and 12 visits each year at $1 per visit.

We also offer a Supportive Membership at $12 for all those who wish to just receive the newsletter. Supportive members must pay $4 per visit if they wish to come to playgroup.
